Newry’s latest K9 Salon now located at 10 Derrybeg Cottages Millvale Road Newry. Orlaith Keenan proprietor of Designer Paws has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the last few years. Orlaith completed her dog grooming training over a two year period with Alison Jones of Barkly Grooming. She also completed her NVQ level 2 in Animal Care in conjunction with Graham Training in Banbridge and Lisburn, which included working in Oakland’s small animal clinic in Banbridge and parts with Newry Veterinary centre.
On completion of her training Orlaith began work with Angela Byrne; proprietor of Carney Hall Kennels Newry where her experience and Knowledge was further enhanced not only in the dog grooming but the full aspects of running a very busy Kennel service. Orlaith decided the time was right to branch out on her own and opened her salon on 10th November 2008. Orlaith provides a professional, caring and exceptionally high standard of grooming to all her clients within a spacious comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
